Colombo International Financial City, also known as the Colombo Port city, is constructed by the China Communications Construction Company. The project is expected to be completed by 2041 and will be on 99 year lease. The Colombo Outer Circular Highway is a highway in Sri Lanka funded by the Chinese government. In 2019, China and Sri Lanka signed an agreement to further fund and build the Central Expressway Project (CEP).
